The other big Hall D23 presentation on Saturday of D23 Expo was a musical extravaganza highlighting the numerous projects from Disney Branded Television that will appear on Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and Disney+.
Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem opened up the panel performing their new single “Can You Picture That.” It’s a song from their upcoming series The Muppets Mayhem. It will arrive on Disney+ some time next year.

After an exciting performance that included and dragon dances and hip hop moves, showrunner Kelvin Wu, executive producer Destin Daniel Cretton, and stars Ke Huy Quan, Ben Wang, Daniel Wu, and Michele Yeoh introduced a first look at American Born Chinese. It will come to Disney+ in 2023.
The stars of National Treasure: Edge of History, including Catherine Zeta Jones and Lisette Olivera, talked about how the show will visit The Alamo, Graceland, and other locations. Before the trailer was shown, they announced the two-episode premiere will be December 14 on Disney+.
Rick Riordan took the stage for Disney Branded Television and assembled the Percy Jackson and the Olympians stars for the first time on stage: Walker Scobell (Percy), Aryan Simhadri (Grover), and Leah Sava Jeffries (Annabeth). We even received a teaser for the series.
The holidays are just around the corner and a trio of specials will be on Disney+. Best in Snow is an action-packed winter competition event hosted by Titus Burgess; Pentatonix: Around the World for the Holidays follows the superstar a cappella group as they work to find inspiration for their annual holiday album; and The Hip Hop Nutcracker is a modern reimagining of a holiday classic that fuses the worlds of hip-hop and classical music to put a fresh spin on a beloved tale.
The next featured project for Disney Branded Television was The Santa Clauses. Lead star Tim Allen shared the series would dive more into the history of Santa and what Mrs. Claus’s first name actually is. Fan favorite from the original, Bernard, will appear as well. It will consist of six episodes, or as Allen says, chapters, with the first two released November 16 on Disney+.
Over on the Disney Channel, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder season two will premiere in February 2023. Some of the guest stars include Normani, Leslie Odom Jr., Chance the Rapper, and Gabrielle Union.
Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur received a premiere date, which is February 10, 2023 on Disney Channel. The first trailer was shown to the audience.
Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures revealed two cast members and their characters. Jamaal Avery Jr. plays Kai Brightstar, a Jedi Youngling while Emma Berman is Nash Durango, a pilot who befriends Kai and his friends and joins them on their adventures across the galaxy in the Crimson Firehawk. One of Kai’s friends is the Jedi Youngling Nubs, who is a member of a new race, although they have a resemblance to an Ewok.
Co-moderator, Raven-Symoné revealed that her Raven’s Home was renewed for a sixth season.
Instead of plugging the second season of Big Shot, which drops all episodes October 12 on Disney+, John Stamos used his time on stage to give a tribute to his Full House costar, the late Bob Saget. It was very emotional and heartfelt, and he reminded the audience not to take your loved ones for granted.
On the movies front, Disney Branded Television shared a first look for Prom Pact. It will stream soon on Disney+.
