He has a popular book, LA Mexicano, which portrays the rich and complex heritage of Mexican culture, including the nation’s food. His Instagram bio notes that he is the world’s first Tacorazzo, as well as a James Beard Award-winning author. Lanai Tabura
Lanai Tabura is an actor, comedian, and TV host. He is currently hosting Cooking Hawaii Style season 6. J.J. Johnson

He has received accolades from Forbes, and was featured in the “Zagat 30 under 30.” He’s also a two-time Best New Restaurant of the Year Winner, via Esquire. J.J. has received nominations for Best Chef and Rising Star New York City. He has his own TV show, Just Eats, which is currently on season 4 at Cleo TV.
