SOUTH BEND — Purple Porch Food Co-op presents “Porchapalooza” from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Aug. 17 at 123 N. Hill St.
The event features more than 20 local vendors, including produce, baked goods, meat, eggs, jewelry, fresh flowers, body care products and more; a beer and wine garden with selections from South Bend Brew Werks; and local food trucks, including the Purple Porch deli grilling elote (Mexican street corn).

The night also includes music, beginning at 5 p.m. with The Dew Claw (local brother/sister duo), The Family Ferlic at 6 p.m., The Bergamot (also locally grown but now Brooklyn-based) at 7 p.m., and This Homemade Conspiracy concludes with old-school rock covers.
Admission is $5; free for ages 20 and younger.
