The Phoenix Suns’ 2022-23 NBA season will begin against the same team its 2021-22 season ended.
The team announced Wednesday that it would face the Dallas Mavericks in their season opener on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. at the Footprint Center.
Phoenix lost to Dallas in seven games in the Western Conference Finals in the NBA Playoffs last season.
The Suns’ schedule includes 34 nationally televised games with 11 games set for ESPN, nine on TNT, two on ABC and 12 on NBATV.

The Suns will play the Denver Nuggets on Christmas Day in Denver at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN.
Phoenix will face the Memphis Grizzlies in Memphis on Martin Luther King Day on Jan. 16 in a game that will be broadcast on TNT.
The Suns’ first meeting against defending champion Golden State will be at Footprint Center on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m., a game that will be broadcast nationally on TNT.
Tickets for Phoenix Suns 2022-23 home games will go on sale to the general public at Suns.com/SingleGame on Monday, Aug. 29 at 1 p.m. with early access for PayPal SixthMan Season Ticket Members at 8 a.m.
