Hallmark fans, you’ll want to hear what Lacey Chabert just announced on Instagram.
Nearly one year after the network released the popular The Wedding Veil trilogy, the actress shared that she was teaming back up with Alison Sweeney, Autumn Reeser and When Calls the Heart star Kevin McGarry to make another set of movies for the franchise. What’s more, the first one is set to drop as part of Hallmark’s “New Year, New Movies” programming, titled The Wedding Veil: Expectations.
“Beginning next Saturday night, we’re back with 3 all new original movies!” Lacey wrote on December 30. “The Wedding Veil: Expectations premieres January 7 at 8/7 on @hallmarkchannel followed by TWO more original movies 1/14 & 1/21 Can’t wait! 💞.”
Reacting to the exciting news, Hallmark fans immediately took to her Instagram comments section with supportive messages.
“Yessss! Can’t wait! Only romantic movies on Hallmark that I’ll watch,” one person wrote. “@thereallacey so excited for the next 3 movies in this series! You are [such] a joy to watch! 👏👏❤️,” another user noted. “I loved the first ones can’t wait for the next!❤️😍,” a different follower responded.

As viewers may remember, the first Wedding Veil trilogy followed three college friends whose lives were changed when they stumbled upon an antique wedding veil that was enchanted. The original installments also featured Lacey’s character Avery falling in love with Kevin’s character Peter, with the two of them marrying at the end.
As far as where The Wedding Veil: Expectations will pick up in the franchise, folks can expect to see Avery and Peter navigating newly-wed life while renovating an old house. What’s more, according to a press release, Avery has “exciting news to share with him but is waiting for just the right moment.”
Luckily, she might be getting some help when Autumn and Allison stop by. To top it all off, Tracy returns the wedding veil to Emma and “the friends may find that they haven’t seen the last of its magic.”
From these details alone, it looks like we know what we’ll be doing this weekend.
